As the iPhone5 India release date is approaching, Apple is dropping prices for its 4th-generation devices continuously — to get them sold ASAP in the country.

That said; a few days ago Apple slashed iPhone4 [8GB] prices to INR 28,300 and the iPhone4S [16GB] to INR 41,500 in India, and now it seems like the prices got lower again.

Starting today, the Apple iPhone4 [8GB] can be purchased for INR 26,500; while the iPhone 4S [16GB] for INR 38,500 in the country — according to multiple sources.

Now that the 4^th-gen iDevices getting too much price cut; we suspect the new iPhone5 to be tagged at lower prices too — even though lower than what we imagined before. That said; now we do speculate iPhone5 to be priced at around INR 45,000 for 16GB variant and INR 60,000 for 64GB model.

Again, that’s simply our speculation and not anything that Apple has announced. So stay tuned for more on the matter.
