Of course the Alcatel is getting serious with its product-revolution to claim its supremacy in tablet foray – at least. That said; company’s latest addition to the tablet market is called OneTouch Evo 7.

Oddly enough, the new 7-incher Alcatel OneTouch Evo 7 is categorized as a “modular tablet” – because it comes with an optional “3G module”. The module is housed in the removable frame that comes in many colors [shown below].

However, the slate can be grabbed without it, but it will only support WiFi connectivity.

Moving on, flavored by Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the new Evo 7 tab packs a 7-inch display [as its name suggests]. Powered by a 1GHz processor — coupled by 1GB of RAM – the new tablet also features a front-facing shooter along with MicroSD card slot for storage expansion [upto 32GB].

No words on pricing or availability, though we suspect it to retail in Europe initially. Stay tuned for more.
