Soon after Huawei introduced India’s first LTE phone at the Innovation Qualcomm India 2012 event, Karbonn took to the stage and revealed its new Android 4.0 powered Agnee 3G tablet.
Priced at under INR 10,000, the new Karbonn Agnee tablet will debut in the country before Diwali.
Featuring a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM722A S1 processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM, the slate [codenamed L] packs a 7-inch (800 x 480p) WVGA display. It also features a 1.3MP front-facing shooter along with 4GB of internal storage, and of course Android v4.0 ICS and 3G connectivity in tow.
There’s also an HDMI port alongside a huge 4,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
Designed and developed by Innominds, the Karbonn Agnee tablet will be supporting WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA and voice-calling functionality on-the-go. Moreover, the slate also supports 22 Indian languages.
Also designed to cater to the education sector, it is preloaded with apps for education-based content and services.
Additionally, the Agnee tablet will be available in three variants — including L, M and H with different specs. Wherein, the M and H models pack dual core processors, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. There are also 5MP back shooters on both tablet.
It will also snagged out the Jelly Bean upgrade in the near future, according to Karbonn. Stay tuned for additional details in coming later this month.
