In addition to iPad mini, Apple has just unveiled their all new 9.7-incher iPad 4 — a new refresh to New iPad. That said; featuring a powerful Apple’s dual-core A6X processor with quad-core graphics, the new 4th-gen iPad brings dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi.
Now there is also a 720p FaceTime front-facing HD shooter along with Next-generation ISP and additional LTE carrier support. The Lightning connector-equipped device also has 10 hours of battery life.
Other features also include a USB adapter, SD card reader, HDMI and VGA adapters.
Prices for the refresh New iPad remain the same; wherein the 16GB WiFi-only version will be retailing for $500. Available for preorders starting October 26 [via Apple's online store and high street stores], the device is expected to ship by November 2nd.
The iPad 4 LTE models will start shipping a “couple of weeks after the WiFi versions”, Apple said.
Update: There is rumor has it that the new iPad4 [or iPad 3S?] may arrive on EE’s 4G network in UK sometime in near future for £399 (16GB), £479 (32GB) and £559 (64GB) WiFi-only models. While cellular prices are £499,£579 and £659. Meanwhile, Sprint has confirmed that it will also offer the device with “a range of attractive data plans” in the coming weeks.
