We’ve been talking regards Apple iPhone 5 availability in India — here at Techsnapr — for sometime now, and now it looks like the device can be pre-booked in the country as well. That said; while the iPhone 5 release date is still unknown, the online retailer Infibeam has started taking preorders of iPhone 5 in India.

The retailer is offering 16GB-equipped Black model for INR 5,000 as pre-booking. Though, do note that the official pricing will be disclosed soon after the device will be released in the country. And we suspect it to be launched in the first week of November.

The retailer promises to ship the device within two-three days from the release date. Stay tuned for a follow-up post on announcement from tomorrow, Oct 26.
