BSNL, on Friday, has unveiled yet another 7-incher tablet, called BSNL Penta TPad WS702C – which is apparently slotting between TPad WS704C and WS802C.
Priced at INR 7500, the new Android 4.0 ICS-powered Penta TPad WS702C features “built-in 3D acceleration graphics capability” as a USP, though company didn’t comment on the same.
Grabbing power from a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM, the 7-incher tab brings the multi-touch screen with 1024×600 pixels resolution. There’s also 8GB of expandable memory along with 2MP back shooter, and 0.3MP front-facing snapper.
Along with 4000 mAh battery under the hood, connectivity features on the slate include BSNL 2G SIM, 3G-supported mini-USB port (GSM + CDMA), HDMI-Out, 3.5 mm jack and WiFi as well. Despite considering its unspecified built-in 3D-technology feature, the tablet won’t be grabbing a hunt [in my opinion], as the Zync’s 9.7-incher Z1000 brings more than 2x battery life and boost in specs for INR 11K.
Update: What it looks like, apart from eBay the Indian online retailer Infibeam is offering the device with a discount.
