Running yet-to-be announced latest Android v4.2, the new Google-bound LG Nexus4 brings the power of the fastest chip [at the moment] out there, so called 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro. Coupled with 2GB of RAM, this Jelly Bean-running 4.7-incher quad core behemoth packs a Zerogap technology-equipped IPS display with resolution of 1280×768 pixels at 320 ppi.
Not only the phone features a huge 8MP rear shooter along with 1.3MP front-facing snapper, it also a grab a new feature called Photo Sphere, allowing users to take panorama shots – thanks to Android 4.2. Moreover, its huge 2,100 mAh battery can be charged wirelessly – thanks to Wireless Charging Orb in the shape of a compact bubble (shown below). This NFC-equipped 3G/HSPA+ monster seems to lacking LTE support.
Unfortunately, the two companies are being a little fickle; offering non-expandable 8GB/16GB models only. Though, the both 8GB and 16GB models will be available contract-free & unlocked for $300 and $350, respectively.
Available starting Nov 13 in select markets – including US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia — via Play Store; while the rest of the countries in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East will be getting the handset by November’s end.
Update: If this phone is your next pick and you want to save a few bucks; then you might want to grab it through T-Mobile for $200 only on a new 2-year contract; wherein it will be available starting Nov 14.
