Now that Android v4.2 is officially out to the public, back to the rumor game we go for our attention pleasure on the next version of Google’s mobile operating system, expected to be dubbed as Key Lime Pie.
Apparently to be called Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, the next Android version will likely debut by February or March of next year; from what we’re already getting signs — courtesy of latest NenaMark benchmarks result — upon evidence of a device running the same operating system.
The lucky device is none other than Sony’s upcoming behemoth in Xperia-lineup with a powerful 1.6GHz processor and 1280x720p resolution display. As you can see from the screenshot below, adopting model number as LT30i the new phone seems to be a variation of the Sony Xperia T aka James Bond Phone; though the numerous reports have suggested the Xperia T also referred to as the LT30i as well, especially in rumors that preceded the official announcement of the Bond phone.
At the time being, we really can’t say either way, but you had better believe we’ll be keeping an ear out for more Android 5.0.0 Key Lime Pie evidence as it emerges. Stay tuned.
