Lenovo has just made its IdeaPhone P770 smartphone official in China. This might not be the gorgeous, fastest, most powerful device around, but it does have something that long-haul tripper will love.
That said; housing a massive 3,500 mAh lithium polymer battery into a thicker 11.9mm compact frame, the new Lenovo IdeaPhone P770 promises upto 29 hours of talk time or a huge 26 days (644 hours) of standby time.
Other than the battery, this phone is right up the mid-tier device and doesn’t pack specifications that will blow you away. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM, this Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-running handset has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540p) display along with a 5MP shooter on back and a front-facing VGA snapper.
The storage space leaves a little to be desired at only 4GB, though the Lenovo is throwing a free 8GB card with the phone. The device can be grabbed in China for CNY 1,699 ($273, €210) starting today. No words on worldwide availability.
