A new LG phone with model number ‘E940’ has just been leaked in the GLBenchmark database. The smartphone is apparently an AT&T (US) model — with what a little piece of code that says “geefhd_att_us,” revealing what carrier the device is headed to.
The LG E940 will be packing high-end specs—what we would expect from 2013 smartphones-era—including a high-res 5-inch (1920 x 1080p) display. Along with a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, Android v4.1.2 of Jelly Bean is expected to be flavored.
So far these line-up nicely with everything we’ve heard about the Optimus G’s follow-up recently. Again, just for the sake of speculation, we suspect it to be revealed next month on the floor of the CES 2013. Thoughts?
