As promised, the Barnes & Noble have just launched its cloud movie and TV show service, the Nook Video in the UK. The owners of the company’s 7-incher and 9.5-incher HD slates can enjoy the digital films and TV shows on-the-go — thank to the BBC, HBO, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, STARZ, and Warner Bros. Entertainment collaborations.
Moreover, the B&N have also become the UK’s first Ultraviolet retailer, allowing customers to (download) enjoy their DVD and Blu-ray purchases in digital form—as well as lets you redeem a digital copy of that same purchase.
The company, reportedly, is looking forward to share its 3 million books, apps, periodicals, TV shows and movies with other platforms – including iPad and Android. Thoughts?
