From the rise of 5-inchers to 7-inchers, there’ve been a number of electronic giant that brought us a range of kid-friendly devices—for our parental controlling pleasure. Today here is FuHu, teaming up with NVIDIA, to bring such worth-picking tablet with monstrous specs for the “tween” audience.
Dubbed FuHu Nabi XD, the Android 4.1-running 10.1-inch (1366 x 768p) IPS display-equipped slate packs quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 innards. Along with NFC, the device supports WiFi and Bluetooth. Interestingly enough, the Nabi XD houses a completely tweaked and modified version of the OS; which dynamically updates the gadgets, widgets, and apps that appear based on time and location. Rather futuristic-sounding stuff!
Tagged at $250 for 16GB and $350 for the 32GB iterations, the slate can be picked up later this month with an all aluminum two toned chassis and flared corners—or optional pad-folio with integrated silicone keyboard cover. Are you in?
