Acer has just introduced its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-running tab in the form of Acer Iconia B1-A71, at CES floor in Las Vegas. The 7-inch wallet-pleasing slate houses a MediaTek’s dual-core 1.2GHz processor, which is coupled with 512MB RAM. At 11.3 ounces and 11.3mm thin it’s a pretty svelte device, packing a WSVGA display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Along with a micro SD card slot and micro USB port, the device packs a 2170 mAh battery inside.
There’s also 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi and Bluetooth. Meanwhile, tablet’s 0.3MP front-facing shooter is certainly helping keep costs down, as the 8GB model of Acer Iconia B1-A71 tab can be snapped up for $150, by month’s end.
