This is no secret that LG’s Optimus G Smartphone is substantially similar to LG-made Google’s Nexus4, there are still a number of differences setting the pair apart, though, including software too. As we know the LG’s late-2012 flagship was launched running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but as per promise the South Korean company is now pushing Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to its Optimus G; since what we know the Nexus4 has already been treated with version 4.2.2.

Don’t get your hopes up too quickly, though — as the right now only the three South Korean editions of the Optimus G are getting Android 4.1.2 JB updates. The three models are following:
- LG-F180S (SK Telecom)
- LG-F180K (KT)
- LG-F180L (KG U+)
