AT&T has started rolling out Jelly Bean update to its last year’s addition, the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro. It comes as a little surprise to us as carrier is kind enough to push the update to a mid-tier device. Anyways,over-the-air (OTA) update brings the Android software version 4.1 alongside other goodies, including Google Now and Project Butter. New camera UI — with live filters and a pause/resume video recording option — is what users will be treated with, too. Meanwhile, AT&T is also throwing a new “blocking mode” feature that lets users block calls, notifications and LED lights for a certain period of time. There’s also a new keyboard options with the inclusion of the Swype keyboard.
As usual, to grab the update make sure you are near a Wifi connection. However, the phone can also be upgraded via Samsung Kies software if you’re so inclined. If you’ve already gotten your OTA push, drop us one or two comments below.
