Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2

It’s earlier than expected, Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2 Smartphone. The Jelly Bean wave has reached to Spanish shores, with other countries to follow shortly (we’re betting on Asian roll-out by next month).

Being pushed out to the international GSM version of the handset (I9100), the new Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2 brings the full experience of the Nature UX, which reportedly will replace the obsolete TouchWiz 4.0 UI. The handset owners will also be immersed with company’s S-Cloud services alongside Jelly Bean goodies, such as Google Now, Project Butter, Direct Call, two homescreen modes, an improved notification bar, camera improvements and more.

Do note that the Galaxy S2 JB update is rolling out in phases so it needs to installed via Samsung’s Kies on your PC.
