It’s been more than six month when we first heard about Samsung Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update roll-out, but we didn’t see any sign of update in months. Today is the day, Galaxy Note ‘GT-N7000’ (International model) owners have a treat under the hood, in the form of Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
The roll-out has already began in the Asia, with users from Taiwan, Hong Kong and more (Germany, too) are reporting over-the-air (OTA) push towards the end of the weekend or this morning. The new update brings all the goodies that we love, including Project Butter, Google Now, Nature UX, and expandable notifications. Galaxy specific features like multi-window and multi-view modes are also in tow.
The device can be upgraded via Samsung’s KIES desktop software. You can also check for the update by heading to Menu >Settings >About Phone >Check for Updates.
There’s no telling when the update is due for other regions or carrier-specific models, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground for more. Stay tuned.
