The Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Pop smartphone has just gained a new color flavor, in the form of bright Orange. The new color version follows the release of already available White and Grey models.
Running Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean, this Samsung’s 4.65-incher behemoth boasts a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 CPU, coupled with 1GB RAM and a Mali-400MP GPU. Albeit tagged at mid- to high-range lineup, the handset’s Super AMOLED screen promises a HD-resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Other features on the LTE-equipped Galaxy Pop include an enhanced 8MP back shooter with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 1.9MP front snapper.
The new Orange version of the Galaxy Pop can be grabbed in both 8GB and 16GB storage options, with MicroSD card slot in tow for further expansion upto 32GB.
At the moment, the device is up for sale in the Samsung’s home-turf South Korea. Granted, it isn’t something we’ll be seeing anytime soon in global markets. But we will keep our ears to the ground when it changes.
