Even though the BLU Products is claimed to be one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world, it’s not that we saw any high-tier handset from the device maker (in ages?). As it turns out, it seems like now you will also hear about the BLU Products when it comes to high-end Smartphone devices. Having said that, the company has just revealed a new series of Smartphone devices, called Life, that will include MediaTek’s 1.2GHz quad-core CPU under the hood.
ARM Cortex-A7 subsystem and PowerVR Series5XT GPU will be powering the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS on the devices, alongside blazing up the speedy HSPA+ 41Mbps network connectivity.
The first device being announced in the series is BLU Life One that features an 5-inch IPS HD display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection, alongside a 13MP back snapper with HD video recording support, a 5MP front-facing shooter, 1GB RAM, 2000 mAh battery, 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. The phone is priced at $300.
Meanwhile, BLU couldn’t hold off any longer on Phablet devices, launching its 5.7-inch HD display-equipped BLU Life View. The BLU’s new Phablet sport a 12MP autofocus back shooter with LED flash, 1GB RAM, 2600 mAh battery, and 16GB storage, which is expandable via MicroSD card slot. It too, will cost $300, while going unlocked.
Last but not the least, the BLU Life Play goes 4.7-incher, featuring IPS HD screen covered in slim 7.9mm thin body. Other features on the phone include an 8MP autofocus back snapper, 1GB RAM, 1800 mAh battery, and 4GB internal memory with MicroSD card support. It is the most affordable of the lot at $230 a pop. It also goes unlocked.
