Good news for those who are still waiting for WP 7.8 update for their smartphones, as the software-maker Microsoft has restarted rolling out the upgrade to all (selected) devices. The Redmond company halted the already on-roll upgrade earlier this month after it discovered an issue that ‘froze’ some Windows Phone Live Tiles from updating.
True to its words, the Microsoft has fixed the issue. Even though the company has made no official announcement on the same, we of Techsnapr have learned separately that the new update, indeed, brings the big fixes — thanks to our readers who upgraded their devices to the refresh version of Windows Phone 7.8, which goes as new build number 8860.
Did you get your update, yet?
