Along with mid-tier Sony Xperia SP, the company has also unveiled its new Sony Xperia L smartphone that goes lower-end, with 4.3-inch (854 x 480p) Display, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait processor, and Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean on-board.
The new Xperia L base model will have 8GB of internal storage, which can also be expanded via MicroSD card slot. Unlike the SP, the L will lack 4G support and will only include 3G HSPA connectivity, while NFC-support in tow.
Other features on the phone include an 8MP back shooter, powered by company’s latest Exmor RS sensor, which takes photography to the HDR.
It also comes with a translucent panels that change colors depending on what’s displaying on the screen. Like its sibling, it will also go on sale in Asia and Europe by the end of June with three color options — White, Black and Red.
