For the first ever, the search giant Google has started selling its popular 7-incher device, the Nexus 7, in India direct through its Play Store. The Android slate is priced at INR 16,000 for WiFi-only 16GB model. The Nexus 7 tablet, however, has been available in the country before, via third-party retailers, for not so affordable price of INR 20,000. But now it seems like the search giant is on a pace to give Apple’s iPad mini some nightmares. That said, Apple is still offering its iPad mini for no less than INR 21,900, and again when considered over a head-to-head comparison in terms of features and specifications, the Google-made Nexus 7 comes out in front in most of the scenarios.
