The UK-based Ergo Electronics has shrunken the size of its last year’s Hybrid Notebook tablet, introducing GoNote mini with 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, which brings the resolution of 800 x 480 pixel — to bring the price down, of course. Having that said, the new Ergo’s GoNote Mini will cost £99 ($150) only.
The new tiny notebook computer — and that’s pretty much what it is — houses a 1.2 GHz Rockchip RK2918 ARM Cortex-A8 single-core CPU, coupled with 1GB RAM, alongside a 3000mAh battery. The device runs Android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, measuring just at 7.9″ x 4.7″ x 0.9″ and weighs 1.5 pounds.
Along with a front-facing VGA snapper and 2MP back shooter, the GoNote mini features connectivity features like a mini USB port, mini HDMI port, WiFi, a USB 2.0 port, a microSD card slot, and 3.5mm audio jack.
There’s also a mouse button in the center of the unit’s keyboard. The base model of GoNote mini goes 4GB.
