Snoozing the mobile alarm in the morning is so convenient, without worrying that it will again strike after few minutes giving you extra sleep and you cannot miss the day activities on time. Google updated its Inbox mail client today with the ability to “snooze” messages that you want to deal with at a later date. Whether you’re busy in some other work or in a meeting you can snooze away emails to a better time or place without worrying you’re going to forget.
Unlike other mail apps, however, Inbox’s snooze capabilities let you set not just a future date to be reminded, but also a location. With Inbox you can either snooze it for later today, tomorrow or maybe next week or by setting a custom time. Inbox responds to your preferences, and adjusts its quick options to match.
Sometimes it makes more sense to snooze your emails to a place, instead of a time. For example, you might want to snooze the reminder of buying eggs at the grocery store, so it makes more sense and you can actually buy it from there.
Once you start snoozing, you’ll notice that Inbox can make the entire process a whole lot easier. For instance: you can name and save common places. Inbox will help you snooze to a time or place with Assists.
You can check out all of your snoozed emails and reminders by opening the app menu, and tapping on Snoozed. From here you can edit snoozed items, move them back into your inbox, or just review everything you’ve snoozed until now to some time or place.
